Reporting to the Vice President, Research and working closely with the Director, Indigenous Initiatives, the Indigenous Research Lead will support Indigenous-led research activities. This role will provide specialized support for faculty-led projects, foster new research partnerships and funding opportunities, and coordinate efforts between Research and the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, ensuring alignment with the College's Indigenization strategies and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action.
Successful candidates will be required to conduct work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus as required. It is anticipated that this position will meet the needs of the department through a hybrid work arrangement with approximately two days remote and three days on-site (flexibility in scheduling is required and more days on-site may be required occasionally depending on project activities). Candidates will primarily work at the 96 Grand Ave S. location in Cambridge but will be required to conduct work at other campuses as required.
